Our Ethos

We believe that good business is more than just profit, and can be a force for positive change in the world. Coops & Co is a small company but we can make a difference through the way that we do things. We host our website through a green hosting service, which is 100% powered by renewable energy and has a commitment to planting trees. We also run a paperless system in our office, and encourage our clients to do the same through an online HR management system. Some of our employees walk or bike to work, and we eat fresh food together each lunchtime, cutting down on waste and single use packaging.

We also see sharing our skills and experience as an opportunity to make a positive impact and Claire donates her time and expertise to sit on the Board of a number of charities.

Our Culture

At Coops & Co we work incredibly hard, but we like to have a bit of fun along the way. The team has lunch together everyday around Claire’s kitchen table, often prepared by Claire herself and with dogs at her feet.  Being based in beautiful Devon, our team days will likely be a paddleboard up the estuary or a dip in the river.  We pride ourselves on our relaxed, yet professional approach and feel that providing a supportive, friendly environment is the cornerstone to a happy team.

We’re also a motivated group and are often fundraising for the charities we care about. From a 3-legged hike across Dartmoor for Rowcroft Hospice and Cancer Research UK, to mud running for Breast Cancer UK, we’re always up for a challenge!
